Racing Incident Report

Whilst in the saddling stalls, TRUST ME lost its left front plate. This plate was reset. The horse was examined by the Veterinary Officer who said in his opinion it was suitable to race. KIMBERLEY MINES and PROFIT HILL were slow to begin. On jumping, ZERO IN and GENERAL SPEEDEE bumped. In the early stages, CLASSA FOR EVER was slow to muster speed, then travelled wide and without cover. At the 600 Metres, DR POSSI became unbalanced and dipped. Making the turn at the 600 Metres, KEEN FLYER hung out. PROFIT HILL made the Home Turn awkwardly. Approaching the 200 Metres, KIMBERLEY MINES had some difficulty obtaining clear running between VICTORY WARRIOR and FLYING GENERAL. At the 100 Metres, FLYING GENERAL was brushed by TRUST ME which shifted in after being bumped on the hindquarters by GLORY YEARS. When questioned regarding the improved performance of GLORY YEARS, Trainer A Lee said he believed the horse had benefited from having a let-up prior to tonight's race. He said GLORY YEARS had raced "flat" at its last two runs. ZERO IN was sent for an official veterinary inspection. A veterinary inspection of ZERO IN after the race did not show any significant findings. GLORY YEARS and FLYING GENERAL were sent for sampling. After the race, it was reported KEEN FLYER had lost its left front plate.
Additional Veterinary Reports (released on 27 April 2006)
ZERO IN, which performed poorly, was examined by Veterinary Officer. He said at that time there were no significant findings. ZERO IN was again examined by the Veterinary Officer at the stables of Trainer A S Cruz this morning. He said at this time he noted the horse to be lame in the left front leg. Before being allowed to race again, ZERO IN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
