Racing Incident Report

The start was delayed when the tongue tie applied to FERRABOSCO required replacing behind the barriers.
BAMBOO DANCE began awkwardly, shifted in and bumped SMART GUY.
FERRABOSCO, TREASURE GLITTER and GLOBAL FAME were all crowded for room at the start between REALLY THE BEST and TOP POWER, both of which shifted ground.
From wide barriers, YOUNG HAPPY and SAMMY’S FORTUNE were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Passing the 900 Metres, NICKU was crowded for room inside GLOBAL FAME which got its head on the side and shifted in slightly when awkwardly placed close to the heels of FERRABOSCO.
After being held up for clear running in the early part of the Straight, GLOBAL FAME was shifted to the outside of FERRABOSCO passing the 300 Metres. For some distance after this, GLOBAL FAME raced in restricted room between FERRABOSCO and YOUNG HAPPY.
Passing the 400 Metres, TREASURE GLITTER and GORGEOUS RULER bumped on a number of occasions as TREASURE GLITTER shifted out to obtain clear running. HAPPY EAGLE, which was travelling outside GORGEOUS RULER, was inconvenienced in consequence and TOP POWER, which was following GORGEOUS RULER, was awkwardly placed close to the heels of that horse.
NICKU was held up for clear running until near the 350 Metres.
Near the 100 Metres, the whip of O Doleuze (TREASURE GLITTER) was knocked from his grasp by the whip of Apprentice K C Ng (GORGEOUS RULER).
Throughout the race, HAPPY EAGLE travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of NICKU and TOP POWER after the race did not show any significant findings.
GLOBAL FAME, REALLY THE BEST and BAMBOO DANCE were sent for sampling.
