Racing Incident Report

RACING REWARD began awkwardly.
BUDDY WATSON and REWARDING HERO made contact shortly after the start, resulting in both horses becoming unbalanced.
From wide barriers, DEEP THINKER and GREEN MANNER were taken across behind runners shortly after the start.
Despite being vigorously ridden along in the early stages, CAPITAL K was slow to muster speed and then after being crossed by MI SAVVY near the 1300 Metres commenced to prove very difficult to settle and had to be checked away from the heels of that horse for some distance after this.
When being steadied to allow SUPREME FLIGHT to cross near the 900 Metres, METALLIC STAR proved very difficult to settle and travelled keenly. MI SAVVY and CAPITAL K, which were following, were awkwardly placed as a consequence.
After the 900 Metres, REWARDING HERO was left racing wide and without cover.
Near the 750 Metres, CAPITAL K shifted out when being checked away from the heels of MI SAVVY, resulting in LIBERTY VALANCE being taken wider. After this, CAPITAL K continued to over-race and had to be checked away from the heels of MI SAVVY for some distance.
After the 300 Metres, DEEP THINKER was held up for clear running and near the 150 Metres was shifted out to obtain clear running.
Over the final 200 Metres, REWARDING HERO got its head on the side and lay out under pressure.
Near the 150 Metres, RACING REWARD was steadied when awkwardly placed close to the heels of SUMMER DASH which shifted out.
Approaching the 100 Metres, SUPREME FLIGHT raced tight inside METALLIC STAR.
A veterinary inspection of MI SAVVY and REWARDING HERO after the race did not show any significant findings.
CALLING WITH LOVE, METALLIC STAR and DEEP THINKER were sent for sampling.
