Racing Incident Report

S Clipperton (EXCITING MOMENT) was fined the sum of $3,000 for failing to declare a probable overweight on the horse at the time of declaration.
DIAMOND DRAGON began awkwardly and shortly after the start was bumped by SUPER WISE which shifted out.
EXCITING MOMENT was slow to begin.
CALL ME AWESOME and HONEST HORSE bumped at the start.
CALL ME AWESOME was badly held up for clear running from passing the 350 Metres until near the 250 Metres at which time the horse was shifted to the outside of BEAUTY CONNECTION to improve.
Approaching the 200 Metres, S de Sousa, the rider of BEAUTY CONNECTION, attempted to shift that horse away from the heels of FAIRY TWINS which commenced to give ground. BEAUTY CONNECTION remained awkwardly placed behind FAIRY TWINS and near the 100 Metres was checked when unable to improve behind that horse and when racing tight outside WINNING VANGOGH (A Badel) which shifted out under pressure. A Badel was advised that whilst there were some circumstances to this incident, nonetheless he must make every endeavour to keep his mounts on a straight course.
EXCITING MOMENT was badly held up for clear running until after the 200 Metres.
Over the concluding stages, WINNING VANGOGH was awkwardly placed outside the heels of EXCITING MOMENT.
After the race, B Prebble reported that SMART DECLARATION hung in and proved difficult to ride for the majority of the race.
A veterinary inspection of GALLANT ROCK and BEAUTY CONNECTION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of FAIRY TWINS immediately following the race found that horse to be a "roarer".
