Racing Incident Report
From wide barriers, PATRIOTISM and SMART BOY were steadied shortly after the start to obtain cover.
Passing the 1100 Metres, EXTREMELY FUN and WALDORF bumped. WALDORF then shifted in, resulting in EVERBRAVE being steadied.
Making the first turn near the 1000 Metres, BULB ELITE got its head up on a number of occasions when being steadied to obtain cover behind STORM SIGNAL.
Making the turn near the 550 Metres, ENCORE BOY raced tight inside GAMECHANGERS which shifted in marginally when racing inside EXTREMELY FUN.
After being taken out by STORM SIGNAL, WALDORF made the Home Turn awkwardly.
Passing the 300 Metres, BULB ELITE was awkwardly placed close to the heels of EXTREMELY FUN when being shifted to the inside of that horse after being disappointed for running between EXTREMELY FUN and STORM SIGNAL which shifted in.
EXTREMELY FUN lost its left hind plate at the 250 Metres.
Approaching the 200 Metres, SUPER HOPPY was awkwardly placed outside SUPER LEADER which shifted to the outside of ENCORE BOY to improve.
In the Straight, ENCORE BOY (K Teetan) lay out under pressure and near the 150 Metres shifted out and bumped SUPER LEADER. K Teetan was advised that in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten his mounts prior to making contact with another runner.
Throughout the race, EXTREMELY FUN travelled wide and without cover and in the Straight gave ground.
STORM SIGNAL lost its right front plate after the race.
A veterinary inspection of EVERBRAVE immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
SUPER HOPPY and SUPER LEADER were sent for sampling.
