3 2 NICHOLSON RETURNS (E452) Briefly crowded near the 300 Metres by MISTER DAPPER which shifted in.

5 9 LITTLE FAIRY (H206) Lay in in the Home Straight.
6 1 MISTER DAPPER (H376) In the early stages raced keenly. Near the 350 Metres was shifted to the inside of WONDER YEARS to continue into clear running. After the race, K Teetan reported that his mount was not suited by the slow early pace of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
7 10 VINCY (B213) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
8 5 WINNING STEPS (G420) Jumped only fairly. After the race, A Atzeni stated that from a wide barrier he was instructed to ride his mount conservatively in the early stages. He said due to the slow early pace of the event WINNING STEPS raced keenly and as a result was unable to finish the race off. Trainer P C Ng confirmed the instructions issued and stated that, in his opinion, WINNING STEPS was not suited by the slow early pace and he may look to ride the horse more positively in the early stages at its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 FLYING SILVER (E478) After the race, J McDonald could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race which included an endoscopic examination showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Before being allowed to race again, FLYING SILVER will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
10 3 SUPER HONG KONG (D241) Jumped awkwardly. After the race, M Chadwick stated that with his mount settling in a reward position and with the slow early pace of the event, SUPER HONG KONG found it difficult to finish the race off, particularly as it had some difficulty obtaining clear running from the 600 Metres when positioned behind GO GO SIXTEEN. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 8 GO GO SIXTEEN (E244) After the race, L Ferraris stated that his mount did not stretch out freely during the running of the event and gave ground in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Before being allowed to race again, GO GO SIXTEEN will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
