1 11 ZOOM BOOM (G131) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 4 RED HARE KING (H188) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 DH 6 GIDDY UP (J020) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 550 Metres was shifted to the outside of SHOW RESPECT when that runner was retired from the event.
3 DH 10 CAPITAL LEGEND (G333) Shortly after the start was bumped by SHOW RESPECT which shifted out.
5 12 CHARITY BINGO (H254) No report.
6 3 SAMARKAND (H070) After the race, C L Chau reported that his instructions were to go forward and endeavour to lead. He stated that when SAMARKAND did not show sufficient pace in the early stages to lead the event, he elected to take a position with cover behind ZOOM BOOM.
7 2 QUANTUM PATCH (H166) Bumped at the start.
8 1 SILVER SONIC (H171) Bumped at the start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 AFFORDABLE (J242) Bumped at the start.
10 9 LUCKY EIGHT (G204) Bumped at the start.
11 8 ROMANTIC LAOS (G476) K C Leung was fined the sum of $5,000 for using the whip excessively on a horse that was not responding and was out of contention.
DNF 5 SHOW RESPECT (H138) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 550 Metres went amiss and was retired from the event. After the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that SHOW RESPECT had sustained an injury to the left front leg. Samples were taken from the horse.
