5 7 GET THE MONIES (G168) Jumped awkwardly.
6 5 GO GO GO (H196) Bumped at the start. Held up for clear running from the 400 Metres until near the 200 Metres where it was steadied when crowded been FAITHFUL TRINITY and GET THE MONIES (B Thompson) which shifted in before being corrected by its rider. B Thompson was advised to exercise more care and in similar circumstances he would be expected to stop riding and straighten sooner than what he did on this occasion.
7 8 ARTHUR'S KINGDOM (E194) From the 450 Metres until the 300 Metres was held up for clear running behind CHARMANDER. Approaching the 150 Metres was crowded for room between SUPERB MOVE which shifted in and away from BROTHER PEARL and CHARMANDER which shifted out when giving ground despite the efforts of its rider Z Purton. As a result, ARTHUR’S KINGDOM did not obtain clear running until inside the 100 Metres.
8 3 SUPERB MOVE (G304) Approaching the 100 Metres was bumped on the hindquarters by ARTHUR’S KINGDOM and became unbalanced. After the race, H Bowman advised that he was instructed to ride the horse where comfortable and not to make use of his mount in the early stages. He said whilst he had expected to take up a handy position on SUPERB MOVE, his mount jumped awkwardly and as a result settled further back in the field than what he had anticipated. He added that bearing in mind his instructions he did not push his mount along in the early stages to hold a more forward position. Sent for sampling post-race.
9 1 DRAGON PRIDE (D164) Crowded on jumping. Near the 100 Metres C L Chau dropped his whip. As this was the third occasion in which he had done so this season, he was issued with a warning. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
10 9 ANGELS HUNTER (G193) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
11 10 FAITHFUL TRINITY (A247) Made contact with the saddling stall leaving the parade, examined by the Veterinary Officer on arrival at the Start and passed suitable to race. Shortly after the start was bumped on the hindquarters.
12 4 CHARMANDER (G437) After the race, Z Purton reported that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight CHARMANDER did not respond to his riding and when he was concerned that there may be something amiss with his mount near the 200 Metres, he eased it down from the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. The performance of CHARMANDER was considered to be disappointing as compared to its previous race starts. Before being allowed to race again, CHARMANDER will be required to perform to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
13 6 MULAN (H145) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
