2 3 KARMA (G392) In the middle stages over-raced when being steadied to obtain cover behind BEAUTY FIT. Lay out on the Home Turn. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 9 SILVER UP (J078) Slow to begin and then was crowded by BEAUTY FIT which shifted in abruptly.
4 12 BEATO (H090) In the early stages raced keenly. Sent for sampling post-race.

9 6 SWEET BRIAR (H044) Near the 100 Metres the whip of L Hewitson was knocked from his grasp by the whip of C L Chau (UNIVERSAL HORIZON). Approaching the winning post was hampered when crowded between SOLEIL FIGHTER and UNIVERSAL HORIZON which shifted in.
10 10 MIDORI BURLY (J083) Over the concluding stages was held up behind SWEET BRIAR. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 7 EIGHTEEN CARAT (J104) Jumped only fairly and after travelling a short distance was then bumped by SWEET BRIAR which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 1 BEAUTY LIVE (G057) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
13 13 MARADO (E245) Bumped at the start and became unbalanced and then from a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
