4 5 SUPER CHARIZZARD (J184) Bumped at the start. After the 500 Metres was steadied to avoid SPICY SO SMART. Near the 350 Metres was steadied away from SPICY SO SMART.
5 2 NORTHERN FIRE BALL (J488) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings. Sent for sampling post-race.
6 7 ACE POWER (J181) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Making the first turn after the 1000 Metres was steadied when momentarily crowded by YEE CHEONG SPIRIT (H Bowman) which lay in and away from WINNING HEART despite the efforts of its rider H Bowman.
7 8 TELECOM POWER (J332) Jumped only fairly and then shortly after shifted out and made contact with YEE CHEONG SPIRIT. Near the 350 Metres was steadied when crowded between POLARIS and SUPER CHARIZZARD which shifted out when being steadied away from SPICY SO SMART. Over the final 50 Metres was unable to be fully ridden out when positioned close to SUPER CHARIZZARD which shifted out slightly.
8 11 RAGNARR (H297) Shifted out at the start and bumped SUPER CHARIZZARD. Approaching the finish could not be ridden out when positioned tight to the inside of SUPER CHARIZZARD.
9 10 SPICY SO SMART (G203) After the 600 Metres bumped with MOTOMAN and became unbalanced.
10 3 POLARIS (J404) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event.
11 6 YOUNG HORIZON (G272) Shortly after the start was crowded between WINNING HEART and WISDOM STAR which shifted out. YOUNG HORIZON was then shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Near the 600 Metres was bumped by WINNING HEART when that horse improved to the outside of TELECOM POWER. As a result, YOUNG HORIZON raced wide and without cover thereafter.
12 9 WISDOM STAR (J351) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
