4 14 COUNTRY DANCER (H436) Made contact with a running rail on the way to the Start, was examined by the Veterinary Officer and passed suitable to race.
5 7 JUMBO TREASURE (K249) On jumping blundered badly, became unbalanced and lost ground. Raced keenly in the early stages. Near the 400 Metres raced greenly when racing in restricted room between KING ALLOY and DO YOUR PART.
6 12 METRO WARRIOR (D387) No report.
7 10 PANDA (H466) On jumping was crowded between SUMMIT CHEERS and DIVINE MOONLIGHT which shifted in. After the event, C L Chau reported that his mount would be better suited by being stepped back up in distance for its next race start. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 8 KING ALLOY (K099) No report.
9 6 DIVINE MOONLIGHT (K119) Stumbled on jumping, shifted in and was bumped. When questioned, H Bentley stated that his instructions were to lead the event but after jumping awkwardly his mount settled further back in the early stages. He said near the 800 Metres when positioned to the outside of SUMMIT CHEERS he elected to allow that runner to cross him as he felt he would have had to make too much use of his mount to hold that position. He added that the decision to allow SUMMIT CHEERS to cross was also influenced by the fact that DIVINE MOONLIGHT had given ground in the Home Straight after being ridden to lead its first race start.
10 4 DO YOUR PART (J444) Shifted in at the start and was bumped.
11 11 COLOURFUL WINNER (J312) Jumped awkwardly.
12 13 MACANESE MASTER (J532) No report.
13 5 APPEALING CITY (J491) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
WX-A 9 KING VICTOR (K042) Whilst proceeding to enter the racecourse dislodged its rider Apprentice P N Wong. KING VICTOR then refused to proceed to the Start and was withdrawn by order of the Stewards. Before being allowed to race again, KING VICTOR will be required to undergo a parade test.
