1 8 CROSSBORDERPEGASUS (K008) Jumped only fairly and then bumped with AHREN which shifted out slightly. In the Home Straight hung in and proved difficult to ride out when racing greenly. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 4 AHREN (K183) Shifted out at the start and made contact with CROSSBORDERPEGASUS. Near the 500 Metres was bumped by BIENVENUE and as a result shifted out. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 7 BULB GENERAL (K218) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
4 10 WITH A SMILE (K136) No report.
5 1 PHOENIX LIGHT (G192) Near the 600 Metres was steadied away from ALLURING LAOS.
6 14 BULB EMPEROR (J241) No report.
7 12 BIENVENUE (J490) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded shortly afterwards by BULB EMPEROR which shifted in despite the efforts of its rider. Near the 200 Metres was eased when momentarily crowded between BLAZING BEAM and PHOENIX LIGHT which shifted out slightly. After the event, L Hewitson could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 9 ELEGANT LIFE (J366) After the 200 Metres was steadied when disappointed for clear running between SUMMIT CHEERS and BULB EMPEROR.
9 13 KING OBERON (H407) No report.
10 2 ALLURING LAOS (J478) After the event, H Bentley could offer no explanation for his mount’s disappointing performance. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
11 6 BLAZING BEAM (K103) Bumped shortly after the start. Near the 550 Metres brushed with CROSSBORDERPEGASUS and as a result made the turn wider.
