Racing Incident Report

1 6 TOMODACHI KOKOROE (H303) Noted to have sustained a minor abrasion to the left hind leg after the race. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 4 DANCING CODE (G365) Sent for sampling post-race.
3 10 MID WINTER WIND (K208) Held up for a short distance near the 300 Metres. After the event L Hewitson reported that his mount lay in over the final 200 Metres.
4 8 HARMONY N BLESSED (E061) Jumped awkwardly, shifted out abruptly and made contact with BRILLIANT EXPRESS.
5 11 BRILLIANT EXPRESS (J321) Shifted in on jumping and made contact with the right side of the starting gate. Shortly afterwards was then steadied when crowded by HARMONY N BLESSED which shifted out abruptly after jumping awkwardly.
6 1 YOUNG CHAMPION (J195) Jumped only fairly and then was crowded by MID WINTER WIND which shifted out.
7 3 KAHOLO ANGEL (H216) No report.
8 2 GORGEOUS WIN (J008) After the event H Bowman stated that his mount was obliged to race wide and without cover for the majority of the event and this was the reason that it was unable to run on in the Home Straight. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 7 BRAVE STAR (G268) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
10 9 SING DRAGON (J141) After the event K Teetan confirmed that from the outside barrier he was instructed to ride his mount in a conservative manner in the early stages as connections were of the opinion the horse would not show sufficient pace to hold an on-pace position. He added that his mount hung out near the 600 Metres.
11 5 CALL ME GLORIOUS (H410) Jumped only fairly. After the event M Chadwick stated that when DANCING CODE and HARMONY N BLESSED showed superior pace in the early stages he was obliged to take up a position with cover. He added that his mount performs best when able to dictate in front. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to be displaying an airway abnormality pending further assessment.
