Trainer P F Yiu confirmed the instructions and said he issued those instructions to offset the wide barrier. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
8 1 STORMING DRAGON (J237) B Avdulla stated that when placed under pressure in the Home Straight his mount responded only fairly to his riding which he attributed to STORMING DRAGON having to carry additional weight after its last start win on 10 September 2025. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
9 12 GOKO WIN (H069) When caught wide in the early stages was shifted behind runners from the outside barrier.
