Racing Incident Report

1 8 KING OBERON (H407) Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. Sent for sampling post-race.
2 1 PEJIBAYE (K297) Bounded on jumping. Lay in over the final 200 Metres. Sent for sampling post-race.
3 4 CALIFORNIA BAY (K364) Shifted out at the start and was bumped. Near the 50 Metres made contact with EVERSTAR due to both runners shifting ground slightly.
4 2 EVERSTAR (K264) From a wide barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages. Raced keenly in the early stages and hung out making the first turn. Near the 800 Metres was steadied away from KING OBERON. Near the 50 Metres made contact with CALIFORNIA BAY due to both runners shifting ground slightly.
5 10 SUPER UNIVERSAL (K303) Lay in in the Home Straight and proved difficult to ride out. Over the concluding stages could not be fully ridden out when racing tight to the inside of PEJIBAYE.
6 3 NEW POWER (H325) From the outside barrier was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
7 6 LEATHER GOODS (K401) Near the 800 Metres was steadied to avoid CALIFORNIA BAY.
8 5 LOOKS OUTSTANDING (K022) A veterinary inspection immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils. As this was the second occasion that LOOKS OUTSTANDING had bled, the horse is permanently barred from any further racing.
9 11 WATCH THIS ONE (K268) No report.
10 7 RELIABLE DAD (L006) Slow to begin.
11 9 PROUD BOX (K487) On jumping became unbalanced when bumped by CALIFORNIA BAY which shifted out. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
12 12 ISLAND BUDDY (J217) Leaving the 900 Metres was steadied to avoid PEJIBAYE (Apprentice E C W Wong) which shifted in when not clear. Apprentice Wong was reprimanded.
GLORIOUS KINGDOM (K269) Withdrawn on 11.11.25 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (swollen right fore) and replaced by Standby Declared Starter WATCH THIS ONE. Before being allowed to race again, GLORIOUS KINGDOM will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.
