3 5 AMAZING PARTNERS (K554) Shortly after the start was crowded between ALABAMA SONG and GOOD FORTUNE which shifted out.
4 2 LIGHT YEARS GLORY (K204) No report.
5 1 FLOWING RICHES (K293) Near the 850 Metres was steadied to avoid SMART GOLF (H Bentley) which shifted in when not quite clear. After obtaining a position in front of FLOWING RICHES, H Bentley then reduced the pace of the race which resulted in FLOWING RICHES shifting out and crowding SPEEDY SMARTIE. H Bentley was reprimanded and advised he must ensure that he is sufficiently clear when shifting ground.
6 4 ADORABLE SMILE (L011) Jumped only fairly.
7 3 ALABAMA SONG (K480) Bumped shortly after the start.
8 8 SUPREME FEELING (L130) Jumped only fairly.
9 7 SPEEDY PATCH (L104) Raced greenly when under pressure in the Home Straight and near the 350 Metres became unbalanced when being shifted to the outside of SERGEANT PEPPER.
10 14 SPARKLE AND GOLD (K259) No report.
11 9 VICTOR SUPREME (K547) Near the 50 Metres was steadied when crowded between GOOD FORTUNE which shifted in and away from SPARKLE AND GOLD and SPEEDY PATCH which shifted out slightly.
12 11 GOOD FORTUNE (H349) Shifted out shortly after the start and was bumped. Trainer P C Ng confirmed that he had instructed M F Poon to ride the horse in a conservative manner in the early stages. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
13 10 ZEPHYR (K414) Slow to begin.
14 13 SERGEANT PEPPER (E432) Jumped awkwardly. Raced wide and without cover for the majority of the event. A veterinary inspection immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
