He said throughout the early and middle stages his mount did not travel comfortably and did not respond to his riding to attempt to hold a more forward position. He added on entering the Home Straight when he was concerned there may be something amiss with his mount when it again blundered, he then retired the horse from the event. Trainer stated that the horse had pleased him during the lead-up to today’s race and he expected it to perform well. He said, in his opinion, the horse blundering soon after the start was the reason as to why its action may not have appeared to be right during the race. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed satisfactorily in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 812.
2 E435  AWESOME TREASURE  07/09/2025   6  AWESOME TREASURE (E435) after the event rider stated that her mount was disadvantaged by being pressured in the lead by a runner and as a result gave ground in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 006.

12 J366  ELEGANT LIFE  13/07/2025   830  ELEGANT LIFE (J366) held up between the 400M and the 300M. After the race an endoscopic exam was conducted at trainer's request and that exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 830.
