He said in the early stages his mount hung out and making the turn after the 600M when not in a competitive position he elected to desist from riding it out in the Home Straight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Finished tailed out, racing manners and performance were considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 827.
