He said his mount came under pressure leaving the 600M and when he was concerned that there was something amiss with the horse in the Home Straight he eased it down from the event. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings. Performance was considered unacceptable. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 033.

After the race was reported by the vet who said the horse had bled from both nostrils. 2 K501  PRIDE BELIEVER  01/10/2025   59  PRIDE BELIEVER (K501) bounded on jumping, became unbalanced, shifted out and made contact with a runner. In the early stages raced keenly and got its head up. After the event rider reported that his mount raced greenly throughout the event and near the 550M ran out and away from a runner. He added that in the Home Straight the horse was difficult to ride out due to its racing manners - Race 059.
