After the event rider reported that his mount, which was carrying the top weight of 134 lbs, did not travel well during the race. He said when asked for an effort in the Home Straight his mount did not respond to his riding which he attributed to the horse carrying the top weight. Post-race vet inspection did not show any significant findings - Race 845.

3 E472  STAR CONTACT  08/10/2025   81  STAR CONTACT (E472) after being crossed near the 1500M was then steadied to avoid a runner, resulting in the horse making the first turn wider. Was then allowed to stride forward near the 1200M to avoid racing wide and without cover - Race 081.
4 H037  A AMERIC TE SPECSO  08/10/2025   84  A AMERIC TE SPECSO (H037) jumped only fairly. Shortly after the start was then checked when crowded. Near the 550M was checked when momentarily crowded. Near the 100M was steadied and shifted in to continue into clear running - Race 084.
5 K153  SOUTH STAR  28/09/2025   54  SOUTH STAR (K153) when questioned rider stated that in the early stages he endeavoured to obtain a position with cover. He said when the pace of the event eased leaving the 1100M he was unable to obtain cover and when his mount then commenced to race keenly he allowed it to stride forward and race outside the leader. Noted to have lost its right hind plate and sustained minor abrasions to the right hind leg after the race - Race 054.
6 H451  LOVERO  14/05/2025   676  LOVERO (H451) after the event rider stated that his mount jumped awkwardly and lost ground and as a result settled further back than intended - Race 676.
7 G209  RISING FROM ASHES  21/09/2025   44  RISING FROM ASHES (G209) held up for clear running between the 350M and the 250M - Race 044.
8 H324  NOBLE PURSUIT  10/09/2025   15  NOBLE PURSUIT (H324) jumped only fairly. After the race an endoscopic exam was conducted at trainer's request and that exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse’s trachea. Has since passed an official vet exam - Race 015.
9 H116  IVY LEAGUE  16/07/2025   845  IVY LEAGUE (H116) lay in over the final 200M and proved difficult to ride out - Race 845.
10 K261  ONE MORE  01/10/2025   64  ONE MORE (K261) held up for clear running between the 400M and the 300M. Near the 200M his mount was shifted out to continue into clear running. For a short distance near the 100M had difficulty obtaining clear running - Race 064.
