When questioned regarding the disappointing performance rider stated that his mount was able to hold the lead in the early stages but came under pressure a long way from the finish before giving ground over the concluding stages. Trainer stated that the horse had pleased him leading into the race although, in his opinion, its barrier trial on 2 September 2025 was slightly below expectation. After the race was examined by the vet who said an endoscopic exam showed a substantial amount of blood in the horse's trachea. Performance as a last start winner was considered disappointing. Has since performed to the satisfaction of the Stewards in a barrier trial and passed an official vet exam - Race 025.
