6 10 RED ZONE (BP304) C Brown -- Behind midfield. Made good ground through the field after 350 M. Run ended short of the line.
7 8 TRIPLE EXPRESSO (BS141) J Egan B Followed leaders. Remained on inner around home bend and had some difficulty getting run early in straight. When in clear at 200 M kept on without ever looking likely.
8 5 CHARM SCENE LAND (CA032) B Marcus -- Midfield or little worse. Made good ground after 300 M but run ended 150 M out. Ridden hands and heels to post.
9 9 FASTEST STAR (BP047) F Coetzee B/TT Rear after losing ground at start. Made ground after straightening then badly held up for a run for some distance approaching 200 M. When clear made some ground after late.

11 2 PREFECT (CA015) W M Lai -- Outside leader. Kept on fairly early in straight. Found no more final 200 M.
