9 8 RARE (BS153) E Legrix B Midfield early, then dropped towards rear. Was checked when disappointed for running early in straight. Ran past beaten runners final 200 M.
10 9 WINNING COUNTER (CA008) J Egan -- Not far off, commenced to hang out approaching 700 M. Hung out badly and covered a lot of ground on home bend, dropped out of contention after straightening.
11 4 FLYING FLYING (BT230) D Bonilla -- Behind midfield or worse, trapped very wide until halfway. Never in contention.
12 5 V-CAN (BV263) W M Lai B Led briefly, then remained handy. Obliged to race wide on home turn and dropped back when inconvenienced by a runner which hung out badly. Not a factor in the straight.
13 12 BULLISH (BP318) K C Tsang -- In touch. Inconvenienced on the home bend by a runner which hung out badly. Began to drop out before straightening.
