7 12 EXCITING TIMES (CB169) F Coetzee TT Raced in 2nd place out 2-wide 1L or 2Ls off pace until straightening for home, hard ridden from top of straight but was rather one-paced and made no impression.
8 10 EVER GLORY (CA199) D Dunn B/TT Sent on to race in 4th place out 2-wide and about 3Ls off speed 800 M out, 3-wide into the straight, found nothing under pressure.
9 13 JUST TOO GOOD (CB150) G Schofield -- Always racing 2-wide about 4Ls or 5Ls off pace until home turn, soon weakened right out of it.
10 1 DISTINCTION (CB257) W M Lai -- Travelled 3-wide and 3Ls off speed until home straight, soon ridden and didn't find much, beaten 300 M out.
11 8 SHINING CROWN (CA154) W C Marwing TT- Always caught at least 3-wide and placed about 5Ls off front down back straight, 5-wide off the home turn, made no show from then on.
12 14 SILVER JET (CB102) R Quinn -- No speed early on, always in rear at least 8Ls off lead until home straight, became further detached on the run to the post.
13 9 COMMON PLACE (CA102) C Williams -- Covered up in midfield roughly 3Ls or 4Ls off pace until turning for home, dropped out tamely in straight.
