3 4 REWARD (BV116) C Williams SR Prominent 3rd 3Ls off lead on rail. Looked a threat from the 200 M, shifted out running to the line, lost 2nd spot when no extra near the line.
4 3 HARMONY PARTNER (CB417) S Dye -- Always in firing line tracking leader 2-wide, became unbalanced near the 600 M and dipped. Almost levelled up with leader turning in, soon unable to find extra and only plodded on.
5 9 BLUE STITCH (CB031) O Doleuze B/TT Niggled to hug rail just forward of midfield 4 or 5Ls off pace. Made a little progress straightening up, soon one-paced.
6 2 NEW ASIANS (BT019) D Whyte -- 2-wide with cover just in front midfield 4 or 5Ls off lead. Moved closer from 600 M to be 2Ls down on straightening, unable to sustain effort, tired close home.
7 6 MY HEART (BV020) S K Sit V Ridden but only managed position just back of midfield 3-wide. Not much response when asked on straightening, ran past beaten runners late.
8 1 ABLE WIN (BV311) A Marcus B Hard ridden early to find position near rear on fence. Steady progress through field from 800 M to be 4Ls down and 4-wide swinging into straight, effort not sustained and tired closing stages.
9 5 CITI CENTRE (CA281) W C Marwing -- Bumped heavily on jumping and was towards rear throughout, never travelled.
10 8 SIXTY SECONDS (CB177) G Schofield B Jumped very awkwardly and shifted in abruptly, at back throughout.
11 12 GORGEOUS YEARS (CB360) K H Ting -- Driven and caught 4-wide around midfield, dropped towards rear reaching back straight, not a factor thereafter.
12 11 JUST TOO GOOD (CB150) W M Lai -- From widest gate went forward and caught 3 or 4-wide amongst first few. Dropped away quickly approaching Rock and was eased down in straight.
