1 3 GLOBAL FORTUNE (CB422) C Williams -- Slowly away and soon recovered to race 5Ls off leader on fence through to straight. When asked 250 M out responded very strongly to win convincingly.
2 2 COOL SWING (CB364) D Whyte -- Raced keenly in the early stages to be 1L off pace on fence. Made the turn awkwardly and did not obtain clear running in he early part of the straight. When clear ran home well but was no match for the winner. (See Racing Incidents.)
3 4 HAPPY WINNING (CB302) O Doleuze -- Began well and soon dropped to mid-division and shifted in to obtain rail running. Under pressure 300 M out and made up steady ground to grab 3rd place on the line.
4 6 EAGLEBROOK (CB287) S Dye -- Broke well and soon led on rail with no more than 1L advantage through to straight. Responded fairly in straight but was overhauled by 1st pair 150 M out and was then grabbed by the 3rd placegetter on the line.
5 1 SIGHT FIRST (BT280) D Dunn B/H Soon settled at the tail around 6 to 7Ls off leader on fence. Gradually shifted out at the latter part of the turn and made up steady ground in straight to be closest at finish.
6 8 HIN YUEN'S UNICORN (BS319) E Legrix -- Pushed along to race 2 to 3 wide around 3Ls off leader through to straight. Under pressure 350 M out but stayed one-paced and ran past couple of beaten runners over the concluding stages.
7 12 MUNDAHISH (BT250) M W Leung V Best out from wide draw and led briefly. Soon shifted in to race just off the leader and remained there through to straight. One-paced in straight, further tired 150 M out.
8 5 WINNING PARADE (CA283) M Cahill B/TT Began well and niggled along to be 2-wide around 2Ls off pace. On straightening was bumped on several occasions, after that when put under pressure did not respond and further weakened over the concluding stages.
9 10 MR HECTOR (CB349) R Quinn B Raced towards the rear section through to straight. Did not quicken when asked 250 M out.
10 9 LUCKY MASTER (CA335) W C Marwing -- Broke fairly but unable to muster early speed to settle at worse than midfield section through to straight. Did not respond to pressure in straight.
11 7 FULL MOMENTUM (CB447) H K Yim -- Raced towards the outside near the tail of the field. Hung out badly when turning for straight and found nothing in straight.
12 11 BOLD'N POWER (BT068) W M Lai B Began fairly from wide draw and pushed along to race in prominent position out wide through to straight. Found nothing in straight and weakened badly 300 M out.
