1 BULLISH LUCK (CC155) C Soumillon B Settled about 7Ls last and 2-wide down backstretch, 5-wide (widest of all) and 5Ls down in rear off home turn, quickened up very well to lead at 200 M, drew clear, impressive.
6 AIN'T HERE (CC288) B Prebble -- 6Ls off pace in 10th when 2-wide at the 1200 M, 4Ls towards rear and going well off home turn, quickened up to be a neck down in 3rd at 200 M, no chance with winner but held 2nd comfortably.
9 PALETTE NATURAL (CB284) A Delpech -- 5Ls off pace when 2-wide in 8th at 1200 M, 4Ls behind in 10th on straightening, held up at the 300 M for a run, switched out wider at 200 M, ran on well to grab a place close home.
10 SATURN (CD154) O Doleuze P/H Slowly away, settled well on fence about 4Ls or 5Ls off pace worse than midfield until home turn, crowded for room when about 3Ls down in 10th at 200 M, finished off well once clear.
8 HIGH INTELLIGENT (CD317) S Dye -- Keen at 1200 M and pressed on to lead at 1000 M out 3-deep no cover, 1L down in 2nd at 800 M and a neck 2nd off final bend, led 350 M out and one-paced once headed at 200 M.
13 ELEGANT FASHION (CC190) G Mosse -- 4Ls behind in 6th on fence at 1200 M, over 2Ls down in 5th when straightening up 2-wide, switched inside for room at 200 M but always outpaced by principals.
4 THE DUKE (CB282) R Fradd -- Checked at 1200 M, 4Ls off pace in midfield at 1000 M when 3-wide with cover, no cover at 800 M until stretch when 3Ls off pace in mid-division, half a length down in 4th at 200 M, found no extra.
3 SUPER KID (CC305) D Whyte -- Keen early on, always about 3Ls or 4Ls off pace in midfield when 2-wide until 600 M out, picked up quite well to be 1L down in 5th at 200 M but lacked an extra kick.
7 MERIDIAN STAR (BV177) C Williams B About 6Ls or 7Ls off pace in rear on fence down backstretch, 5Ls down into home straight, never had much clear running room, largely untested.
5 FIGURES (CC307) G Schofield TT Close up out 2-wide between 1L and 2Ls off the speed and either 2nd, 3rd or 4th until home straight, swamped at the 200 M and weakened.
12 GREAT DELIGHT (CC291) E Saint-Martin B Crossed easily from wide gate to lead on fence by 1L at 1400 M, headed at 1000 M but led by 1L again at 800 M, narrow lead off final bend, headed 300 M out and faded steadily.
11 STAY YOUNG (CD109) M Rodd -- Well placed with box-seat run on fence 2Ls off pace in 3rd or 4th until home turn, found very little off the bridle.
