5 2 GOLD FIELD (CC096) O Doleuze B Broke with them, taken back from wide alley to settle 2nd from tail on rail, lobbed along about 9Ls away throughout, made run between horses in straight weaved into clear at 300 M and did best work late.

8 12 CHEERFUL HEART (CC206) G Mosse B Began fairly, drove through to hold position on leaders back, 1L away travelling well throughout, used nothing to turn, received dream rails run entering straight but unable to capitalise and only battled to line.
9 5 CALIFORNIA LUCK (CG215) B Prebble TT1 Away with field, showed good early speed to drive through and take up running, kept them going at a steady pace, pressured from 500 M, hung out in straight, compounded with lack of fitness after relatively easy run.
10 7 KONRAD THE GREAT (CB059) K T Yeung V Jumped with field, pressed forward but trapped 3 wide midfield 5Ls from pace, had cover throughout, made 4 wide run from 500 M, wide run took its toll and only held ground in straight.
