4 HAIL THE STORM (CE125) S Dye B Away with field, restrained from wide alley to settle 2nd from rear 8Ls from pace, relaxed well and enjoyed easy run mid race, had field in front on turn, made strong run down outside in straight passing all but winner, good effort.
7 SILVER SUN (CE126) D Dunn -- Broke well, taken in behind to find cover early, settled just worse than midfield in 2 wide position 6Ls away, 3 wide in traffic making turn, got clear at 350 M and finished race off well to be closest at line.
3 SUNNY SING (CE135) E Saint-Martin TT Fast into stride, held inside running early before settling behind leader, had run of race throughout using nothing to turn, inconvenienced when looking for clear running early in straight but lacked dash when clear, even effort.
1 HELLO PRETTY (CE210) G Mosse SR/H1 Away well, showed good early speed to roll forward and take up lead, over raced slightly in front at even clip, held 1L advantage on turn, under pressure entering straight, still there until 200 M but weakened last bit.
5 HAPPEE OWNER (CE230) B Prebble TT OK to break, pressed forward to obtain prominent spot, caught 3 wide 3 to 4Ls away with cover in mid section, always working to turn, in mix until 250 M (bumped) but wide run took toll and weakened late.
12 LOTZATOW (CD397) Y T Cheng V Began only fairly, niggled along to be close on rails early, settled 3 back on fence 3Ls away in middle stages, used no petrol in run, on bit in traffic entering straight, left flat footed when they sprinted and held ground to line.
11 GOOD BA BA (CE201) D Whyte SR/TT Began with field, awkward into stride not far away early but drifted back to just off midfield 5 to 6Ls away, raced 3 wide with cover in mid-section, tracked 4 wide on turn, lacked class to be a factor last 200 M.
8 VERY FIT (CE071) O Peslier TT Broke fairly, pushed on wide early, trapped 3 wide outside the leaders throughout without cover, always wondering and under pressure on turn, still there until 300 M but compounded late due to early workload.
6 WILLIE DETROY (CG007) F Coetzee TT Evenly away, lacked early toe and unable to get close to rails from awkward alley, raced 4 wide without cover for most of journey, closed 5 wide to be 3Ls away on turn but couldn't sustain effort and plugged to line.
9 GOOD NATURE (CE153) O Doleuze -- Jumped with field, became unsettled when restrained early, took up spot 6 to 7Ls away on rails, didn't settle with slow tempo and raced ungenerously throughout, made run between runners in straight but one paced at finish when clear.
10 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) C Brown TT Fair to begin, pushed along to hold midfield spot 2 wide 4 to 5Ls away, not asked in mid section and tracked nicely 3 wide 3Ls away into straight, offered little when asked and plugged to line.
14 MATIRI KING (CE266) R Fradd XB/H Average to begin, drifted back to last 10Ls away on rails, not asked in mid section, made 4 and 5 wide run on turn, tried hard but unable to make up ground when widest in straight, not up to them.
