11 JADE DRAGONFLY (CE331) O Doleuze -- Began nicely, didn't have speed to slot in, posted 3 wide in midfield 3 to 4Ls away, forced 4 wide at mid-point, kept creeping closer to challenge strongly at 200 M, found well under pressure to overhaul them late for big win.
12 CELEBRATION (CB029) C W Wong B Average to begin, ridden hard to muster speed, finished up with nice trail behind leader, had run of race with moderate speed, tracked nicely to turn, gained split at 300 M, finished race off strongly fighting out finish last furlong.
6 ELEGANT KING PRAWN (CE265) S Dye B- Fastest to hit ground, eventually took up running, dictated terms in front, set slow speed to turn, held slim advantage into straight, kicked strongly and kept them out until last 100 M.
8 LUCKY DIAMOND (CE194) B Prebble TT Only moderate to begin, drove up to take closer order, settled 3 wide without cover 3Ls away in front of midfield, travelled well despite wide run to turn, sprinted with winner and kept giving to make frame.
5 REGAL THRILLS (CE286) F Coetzee B Began with them, didn't have early toe and raced in midfield on rails 4Ls away, had cosy run in mid-section, spent nothing to turn, held up until 200 M, finished off evenly on their heels without really seeing daylight.
14 FUJIAN PRINCE (CE006) M Odendaal SR/TT Amongst first few to begin, pressed forward from awkward alley, crossed to race outside leader and assumed 1 out 1 back at midpoint, travelled strongly on turn, challenged at 250 M and in mix until fitness gave out late.
2 SECRET OF KINGS (CG102) G Mosse -- Standard break, drifted back as expected to race in rearward division, raced 3 wide 4 to 5Ls away, had trail behind eventual winner on turn, under pressure to push up, closed off evenly picking up some late ground.
1 DISGUISE (CG004) D Whyte B Bounced with them, restrained to be ridden quietly, raced in last trio throughout 2 wide 6Ls off them, travelled well on bend, still last to 300 M, closed race off doing best work to be nearest at finish. (Rider questioned.)
9 SPEEDING MOLLY (CC227) K L Chui SR/TT Jumped in line, took up midfield position early, raced 2 wide 4Ls down in mid-section, back in traffic on turning in, went back to rails in straight, stuck to task but lacked extra gear to be a factor.
3 SEASONS KNACK (CC242) A Delpech -- Slow to begin, settled at tail soon after start, held position on rails 6 to 7Ls away, didn't spend anything thereafter, well back on turn, held up early in straight, only got going last 200 M and closed off well.
4 MY BROTHER (CG154) E Saint-Martin TT OK to jump, drifted back to midfield, posted 3 wide 4Ls away with cover in middle stages, back in pack on circle, had chance to make ground but struggling at 250 M, finished off at same pace to line.
10 ABERDEEN (CE182) R Fradd H Standard break, raced in usual position at tail, lobbed along at rear 7Ls away from leaders, still rearward angling 5 wide on turn, made some ground to 200 M but didn't go on with job and one paced in finish.
7 ABLE KNIGHT (CE079) D Nikolic H/TT Broke fairly, soon mustered speed to be amongst them early, shuffled back to be 3Ls down in 2 wide spot, enjoyed good trip to turn. Couldn't find when they sprinted and closed off only moderately.
13 VITALITY CHAMP (CD301) W M Lai -- Jumped nicely, showed customary speed to press on from wide alley, eventually crossed to race outside leader, challenged leader throughout (pace only average), still there on turning, didn't respond and weakened right out last 300 M.
