9 GRAND SUPREME (CG229) D Whyte -- Began with them, accelerated to hold spot outside leader, relaxed nicely at leaders girth, 1/2L down to turn, challenged strongly into straight, took control at 150 M and kept break to line to score another solid win.
8 SANZIRO (CE208) G Mosse TT Average to begin, content to settle at rear on rails 5Ls away, raced on bridle throughout, came 2nd 3-wide with run passing Rock, eased to middle of track in straight, really motored late making up many lengths to go down narrowly.
7 NOBLE MAN (CC099) F Coetzee -- Began with them, restrained to assume usual role in rearward division, raced 4-5Ls away on rails, travelled nicely to turn, angled into clear between horses in straight, finished hard last furlong to be right there on line.
3 OUR JET (CD128) E Saint-Martin B/TT Amongst first few to begin, took nice trail in 1 out 1 back early, overraced a touch in mid-section, still camped in nice position on turning, clear run presented at 200 M, kept steadily closing to make frame.
6 EXPECTATIONS (CD078) H W Lai SR Fast into stride, unable to go with them early and faded back from wide alley, posted 3-wide with cover in midfield 3Ls away, ridden up to make 4-wide run into straight, finished off evenly at same clip.
1 LIBERAL'S KNIGHT (CE272) R Fradd -- Steady to break, held midfield position 2-wide 3-4Ls away, overraced when paced slowed, tracked nicely between horses turning in, had chance in straight but didn't pick up, only held ground and tightened near line.
2 ADAIKALI (CE181) S Dye CP Bounced out, showed customary speed to hold lead, kept striding at even clip, dictated terms to turn, narrowly held advantage into straight, kicked to 150 M but was a spent force and faded late.
5 SPECIAL KING PRAWN (CD212) B Prebble TT Average jump, allowed to drift back from awkward alley, raced 2 and 3-wide at tail 6Ls away, well back between horses on turning, came to middle of track and closed off nicely giving too great a start.
11 FLYING GENERAL (CB236) K L Chui SR Began with first few, dropped in for trail early, drove through to race behind leader 2Ls back, had easy time to turn, didn't have much clear running until 150 M, unable to find turn of foot and only held ground to line.
12 CANNONISE (CD377) W M Lai B/TT Jumped with line, rolled forward in search of lead, caught 3-wide without cover 1L away, always working in run, began to struggle approaching turn, gave in at 200 M when workload took toll.
10 WIN AGAIN (CD371) M Nunes B Began awkwardly and lost ground, settled 3-wide 5Ls away behind midfield, raced ungenerously between horses throughout, checked at 500 M, well back on turning, offered little in run home to be well beaten.
4 BOBO WIN (CC238) C W Wong CP1/TT- Failed to muster speed from break, unable to slot in and forced to race 3 and 4-wide at rear 5Ls away, always covering ground without cover to turn, last entering straight and made no impression in run home.
