4 3 CHINA HERO (CH040) E Saint-Martin -- Broke with line, pressed on but posted 3 wide in midfield when unable to slot in, had cover 5Ls back in mid-section, gave a start on straightening, knuckled down last 200 M and made plenty of ground late to make frame.
5 9 WILD ACE (CH009) A Starke -- Jumped well, pushed along but didn't have enough toe and had to be content 3 to 4Ls back on rails, switched 2 wide from midpoint, into clear running on straightening, inexperienced but kept giving in straight to be nearest on line.

10 2 TIME SUPERB (CH038) A Delpech -- Average to break, ridden along to settle behind midfield, checked at 800 M and forced to race 3 wide thereafter, 6 to 7Ls back on bend, came to outside in straight and closed race off fairly passing tired runners late. Inexperienced.
