12 SACRED KINGDOM (CG268) D Nikolic TT Away in line, soon prominent towards stand side, always on bridle just off lead, put in a challenge to lead at 300 M, accelerated nicely to score another strong win. Set course record (strong tail wind).
7 FRIENDLY GAINS (CG300) O Doleuze -- Bounced out, lead them up by midpoint in centre of track, travelled well throughout, kicked hard at 300 M, lost front at 100 M but held on bravely running winner to a length in very fast time.
9 BLUE GENES (CG055) M Nunes B/TT Began well, sat just off them on standside rail, 2-3Ls back by midpoint, steadied before switching into clear at 400 M, stuck to task well in run to line doing best work late.
3 TCHAIKOVSKY (CE030) Y T Cheng B Showed customary speed from outset, shared lead flying solo down inside rail, kept in there to be 1L down at 400 M, lost place at 200 M but held on well to make frame.
1 OUR JET (CD128) E Saint-Martin B/TT Even jump out, raced towards standside with cover 3-4Ls back, steadily progressed through pack from halfway point, couldn't match first few last 300 M and just stayed on evenly in run to line.
5 GREEN BIRDIE (CH245) S Dye -- Slow to begin, crossed in behind to trail 4Ls back in centre of course, in open running from 500 M, made ground steadily under hands and heels only, never really threatened but a promising debut nonetheless.
11 FLY HIGH (CH126) H W Lai -- Out nicely, settled 2Ls back in centre of course, 4Ls down in midfield by midpoint, didn't find another gear when asked and only concluded things with a standard effort holding ground to line.
6 DOWN THE WICKET (CH059) G Mosse B Reasonably away, held a prominent spot on stand side, shared front with eventual winner at midpoint, lost touch when speed increased from 300 M, run came to an end last furlong and weakened out.
8 ALBERTINELLI (CH111) C K Tong -- Ordinary break, settled at rear 5 to 6Ls back towards outside, always struggling to keep there, hung in throughout, managed to pass a few tired runners late but never really likely to figure.
14 FAT CHOY FOREVER (CD111) C W Wong -- A little awkwardly away, kicked up to settle behind front line 3 back in pack, always struggling to go the speed, found little when pressured and just plodded in run to line.
4 ABLE CHOICE (CB126) D Whyte B/TT Average jumpout, crowded and raced at tail 5-6Ls away, never really comfortable and inconvenienced by outside horse throughout, not able to respond at business end and did little in finish.
2 LIBERAL'S KNIGHT (CE272) F Coetzee -- Away well enough, raced behind them in middle of course, 4Ls down a midpoint and struggling with the tempo, gradually faded out of it late.
10 BULB KING (CD303) W M Lai -- Began nicely, showed usual speed to be 1L behind first few towards middle, under pressure soon after midpoint, found little when asked at dropped out noticeably last 200 M.
