8 LUCKY HERO (CH135) M Nunes -- Away nicely, lead them easily, controlled the race from the outset, had an easy time to bend, held a 1 length break turning in, put foot down and kept a decent break for length of straight to score a comfortable win.
10 SUPER GENKI (CH195) K L Chui TT First to hit ground, raced more prominently and relaxed appreciably, had 1 out 1 back sweet seat in mid-section, 2Ls down turning, switched out and stuck to task gamely to take plenty of ground off winner despite being well held.
9 MAGIC KING (CH182) D Whyte SR1 Moderate beginning, recovered to hold leaders back, had easy time on rails 1 to 2Ls back, tracked nicely to bend, couldn't sprint with more experienced rivals but kept on soundly for a clear 3rd. Useful debut.
2 BULLISH WIN (CH197) G Mosse TT Away better than most, ended up in running line in 2 wide line 4Ls back, over-raced a touch in mid-section, came to middle holding 5th off turn, steadily made ground in straight without threatening to make frame.
5 AMAZING CHOISIR (CH189) D Nikolic -- Began in line, rushed forward from a wide alley to camp outside the leader, a shade keen in mid-section, right there 1L down on turn, condition gave out at 200 M and weakened late. Better for run.
1 SHANGDONG GENERAL (CH077) B Prebble -- Moderate jump out, planted in midfield 2 wide 5Ls back from a wide alley, back in 7th on bend and tracked evenly turning, kept to task but never looked a threat making minor ground in stretch.
3 MASTER MASTER (CH144) F Coetzee -- Out with them, taken to rails and ended up 3 back on the fence, had a quiet trip 3 to 4Ls back, saved ground to bend, didn't produce a dash in straight and just struggled at same speed last 300 M.
12 TELECOM OWNER (CH149) M W Leung SR1/TT1 Even jumpout, didn't have early pace, raced behind midfield 7 to 8Ls back, travelled unkindly in mid-section and came 3 wide on circle, well back on bend, didn't lose ground in straight but never likely to figure.
6 ENERGETIC BOY (CH153) K T Yeung -- Bounced out but lacked the dash to hold a spot, shared rear on rails 8Ls off leaders, always well back and not asked until turning in, passed a few tired ones in straight but still beaten a long way.
4 MEGA BULLET (CH192) S Dye -- Reasonable beginning, secured a spot off midfield on rails 7Ls from lead, kept to fence on bend, had job to do on turning, found little when placed under pressure and plodded to line.
11 TALE OF FRIENDSHIP (CH184) Y T Cheng -- Awkwardly away, settled in rear division, shared rear of bunch 2 wide 8Ls back on circle, appeared green and inexperienced running about turning in, didn't produce any sprint in run home just battling to the line.
7 HOT VINTAGE (CH162) S K Sit B1/TT1 Slowly away, couldn't keep up from the outset, 15Ls back by midpoint, lost further ground to bend and never in it. Clearly not there yet.
