2 NOBLE CONQUEROR (CG169) B Prebble B2 Began well, took a hold to take an early trail, tracked pace nicely 3Ls racing 2-wide, gradually improved on bend, travelled strongly to challenge turning, raced away in straight to score a facile win by a big space.
7 SOLAR POWER (CE047) M Nunes TT Amongst first few out, positioned handy 3 to 4Ls back in 2-wide line, had good trip throughout, tracked eventual winner on bend, kept on steadily when clear on turning, found winner in another class.
8 QUEST FOR LOVE (CE242) A Delpech B Average break, taken to rails and slotted in nicely 4Ls back, not set a task in mid-section, crept closer 3Ls down in 5th turning, kept to rails but couldn't make much impact when in clear from 200 M. Closed steadily.
12 MIRACULOUS (CE115) F Coetzee -- Bounced out, rolled on to assume role at head of affairs, kept them running at a good clip 2Ls clear, kicked on circle but tackled on turning, unable to dash again but kept on evenly to make frame.
1 BEST POWER (CG006) G Mosse -- Even jump but drifted back from a wide alley, settled in rearward division as expected on rails 8Ls back, helped by solid speed on, in traffic until 200 M, made some late progress when clear.
3 AWARD (CE111) O Doleuze TT- Awkwardly away and restrained to rear, raced 10 or more lengths back in a clear last place, aided by even sectionals, still well back turning, made some good late ground but gave too much start on straightening.
4 AMSTERDAM (CE140) E Saint-Martin XB/H/TT Slow into stride, angled to rails for a midfield trailing position, raced 8Ls from front and suited by speed, spent nothing to bend, plugged steadily in straight just holding ground to line.
5 CRYSTAL (CE209) Y T Cheng B Well enough to begin, posted 3-wide without cover when unable to slot in, did it tough 4 to 5Ls off pace, crept closer passing Rock, 3Ls down in 4th leaving bend, run ended at 150 M and battled thereafter.
10 GALLANT FALCON (CD194) D Whyte B/TT Moderate jump, forced to take a 3-wide trail 6Ls back in midfield, did share of work in mid-section, 4Ls down turning in, run closed at 200 M, didn't respond to hands and heels riding thereafter.
6 WEALTHY TREASURE (CC270) K L Chui -- Fast away, tried to hold front but eventually handed up for trailing position heading into back, did share of work a even tempo, eased 2-wide passing Rock.
11 FLORAL NIRVANA (CH232) S K Sit B/TT Standard jump, raced behind midfield 8Ls away in running line, helped by reasonable speed, back in traffic turning under pressure but steadied at 200 M, did little thereafter.
9 HAPPY CRUSADER (CE080) H W Lai V/TT Moderate to begin, faded back to next to last, 10Ls back racing 2-wide, advantaged by speed, came 3-wide passing Rock, found little under pressure in straight and plugged to line.
