11 TIGER PRAWN (CG279) K Shea TT Standard jump, outpaced early and settled towards rear 6Ls back in 2-wide line, had a good run with solid speed, travelled well turning, hit clear at 150 M and surged late to hit lead on line.
1 SANZIRO (CE208) S Dye XB/TT Moderate jump and allowed to drift back to tail, raced 2-wide 8Ls back, helped by tempo in mid section, swung wide into straight, made huge amount of ground to just miss. Unlucky.
8 NOBLE MAN (CC099) O Doleuze -- Out with line, had pace to hold a position 3Ls back on rails, had a nice run following speed, angled 2-wide on bend into clear turning and challenged to hit head briefly at 150 M before being run down late.
3 RIVER JORDAN (CG194) G Boss TT Began OK, drifted back to a mid field position in the running line 4Ls off front, helped by even pace, travelled well bend, angled out on turning and closed nicely to make frame.
6 GREAT ACHIEVEMENT (CD250) Z Purton TT Reasonable break, faded back to race midfield on rails 4Ls off lead, had an easy time with pace on up front, saved ground turning and gradually took ground off leaders without threatening.
7 ISLAND SPEED (CG202) A Delpech B Broke nicely, showed plenty of early toe to take up running from a wide alley, kept rolling at a solid tempo, joined on turning, headed at 150 M and weakened late after early work.
10 BEAR MACHO (CG152) E Saint-Martin -- Awkwardly away, regathered and drove up to race outside leader, did share of work with speed on, moved up to challenge on circle, right there at 150 M but condition gave out late and couldn't sustain effort.
9 EASY (CG095) Y T Cheng -- First to hit ground, led easily but took a trail after 200 M, had an even trip behind leader with pace on, took a gap turning and hit lead passing 200 M, peaked on run and dropped off last bit.
12 CONGRATS (CG298) C W Wong -- Last out, took up spot at rear 8Ls from lead, helped by solid tempo in mid-section, cut corner and saved ground, made plenty of ground in straight before run closed, not ridden out late.
2 LASER POWER (CE129) B Prebble V Restrained from a wide alley, raced 3-wide 7Ls from speed, always amongst last few but helped by tempo, still well back on turning, made a late ground from well back.
4 GRAND SUPREME (CG229) D Whyte -- Reasonable beginning, unable to slot in, posted 3 wide without cover 3Ls back, improved to be 2Ls down on turning in, hard run took toll and weakened out late. (Lame)
5 BYRON (CD275) F Coetzee -- Out with rest but couldn't go early pace, ended up towards rear 2-wide 6Ls back, gradually lost position on bend, struggled in straight, will derive benefit from run.
