4 9 FLAG FINDER (CE224) O Doleuze -- Raced wide throughout. Began fairly, settling just worse than midfield. Effort rounding home bend. Sustained progress down centre of straight to be nearest at finish.
5 7 SHY BALDY (CH168) Z Purton TT Led or disputed lead on rails to 250 M. Soon weakened.
6 3 SILENT DRAGON (CG200) B Prebble CP/XB Began well. With leaders early, racing very wide without cover. Still 3-wide when one-back in 3rd around home bend. One-paced before finding no extra inside final 200 M.
7 4 HAR HAR CHARMS (CE100) F Coetzee -- Broke well. Close up. In similar one-back position turning in. Ran home one-paced.
8 1 GUAN DAO (CH211) K T Yeung -- Began fairly. Held rails run within 2Ls of pace most of way to 400 M. Gradually faded after straightening.
9 2 TEAM WORK (CH276) Y T Cheng B Raced wide in midfield down far side after beginning from poor draw. Covered ground on outside making home bend. Ran home one-paced.
10 6 PLEZAYRE (CG116) D Beadman XB/TT Sluggish at start. Behind midfield of bunched field when checked and lost position coming out of back straight losing many lengths. Never recover.
11 11 COSMO SUCCESSOR (CH118) S K Sit TT With leaders briefly, racing wide down far side. Gradually taken back to race in rear before home bend. Made no impression thereafter.
