6 HIGH INTELLIGENT (CD317) K T Yeung B/XB/TT Began with them, took a spot on rails behind leader, allowed first two to get well in front, improved on bend, came with a solid run to hit lead at 150 M, kept grinding away to hold off challengers for deserved win.
3 VICTORY TREASURE (CE031) C Soumillon V/TT Moderate jump, ended up in midfield 7Ls away on fence, had a soft run in middle stages, in behind horses turning, dashed well when split emerged and finished well for 2nd.
8 MY LUCK (CE256) B Prebble B/XB Fairly away, taken back to find cover, ended up behind midfield racing 8Ls away, aided by solid speed at top end, made a 3-wide run turning, closed hard down centre to take placing.
12 MASTER GUNNER (CJ142) E Wilson -- No early pace, allowed to settle at tail racing 12Ls back, appreciated fast sections in mid-section with leaders well clear, saved ground on bend, made many lengths from last turning to finish a remarkable 4th.
10 NOBLE SILENCE (CD238) D Whyte -- Restrained from outset, swiftly took a spot on rails 7-8Ls back, had race run to suit with pace on, made improvement on bend, finished race off well making good ground to be nearest on line.
5 DR POSSI (CE288) C W Wong -- No early pace and drifted back from a wide alley, ended up nearly a dozen lengths back sharing rear, still well back on bend, made a wide run turning and did best work late to be not far away in finish.
1 NOBLE HEART (CC355) G Boss B/TT Not much early pace, settled well back on fence 10Ls back, aided by pace with leaders 4Ls clear, made progress on bend, held up turning to 150 M, just held ground thereafter.
11 GOAL KEEPER (CH277) M Nunes V Began with them, slotted into midfield 6Ls away, had a reasonable run with break away leaders putting pace on, close enough on turning, lacked a dash and proved disappointing struggling to line.
9 LUCKY MONEY (CE159) Y T Cheng -- Moderate getaway, showed some pace to take a prominent spot, ended up leading main bunch 5Ls from leaders, made run on inside turning and was a brief chance on straightening, soon faded when couldn't find extra gear.
2 CALIFORNIA BISHOP (CD351) G Mosse TT Away nicely, ended up 6Ls back on rails in midfield, had a reasonable run in middle stages, looked to improve on straightening but held up behind a tiring horse, didn't get going thereafter.
4 JOLLY GOOD FORTUNE (CD274) F Coetzee B Began with purpose, went forward to race outside leader, refused to settle, kept fast pace on shading leader throughout, under pressure on turning, dropped out quickly.
7 CLASSA SUPREME (CG261) H W Lai TT Showed customary pace to lead, taken on in front, set frantic sections 5Ls clear of rest, still under siege on circle, weakened on straightening when hard run took toll.
