3	6	MAGIC TURBO (CJ098)	O Doleuze	SR	Eased at the start and was taken back behind runners landing midfield the fence. Didn't obtain the clearest of passages early in the straight, but after switching out near the 100 M, went to the line only fairly.
4	7	WITHALLMYHEART (CE268)	F Coetzee	TT	Settled midfield then near the 800 M was left racing wide and without cover, battled away in the straight.
5	4	SOU MA TAM (CH253)	B Prebble	B	Bumped at the start, then recovered to race 1 out 1 back. Had every chance.
6	2	CASH MONEY (CH030)	C W Wong	H1	Enjoyed a nice run in the race behind the leader along the fence. Found little when asked for an effort in the run home.
7	5	CLASSA FOR EVER (CD085)	H W Lai	TT	Worked forward to race as joint leader, 1 off. Was challenged near the furlong and gave in quickly soon after.
8	8	GOLDEN WIN (CE062)	Y T Cheng	B	Checked soon after the start then raced 3 back, midfield, 2 deep with cover. Weakened over the final stages. Returned after the race with blood in the trachea.
9	3	BE MY SONG (CH272)	M W Leung	V/H	Wasn't suited by being taken on in the lead along the fence. Was a beaten horse after the 500 M. Pulled up with blood in trachea. To trial. (See Racing Incident.)
