4 7 PALAIS D'OR (CH185) D Beadman TT Out OK, taken back from widest gate, ended up at rear with last few 10Ls from top end, set a big task, still well back on circle, shifted to outside and made many lengths from an impossible spot to make frame.
5 2 CHINA LUJIA (CJ088) O Doleuze B/XB No pace early, at rear soon after, ridden hard to make ground and take a midfield ride 6Ls back, not used to bend, progressed to 200 M when run came to an end.
6 11 CHATER D'CAT (CK119) W C Marwing -- Out with rest, took a position behind midfield and ended up 7Ls back in 2 wide line, niggled along to improve on bend, kept on fairly before flattered at 200 M.
7 8 THE ONLY KID (CH173) B Prebble H No early pace and settled behind midfield 8Ls off pace, not asked in middle stages, didn't have much dash but made some minor progress to 200 M before run ended.
8 9 GOUF (CJ227) Y T Cheng -- Began nicely, assumed a forward position on leaders back, raced 3Ls away following a strong speed, close enough on turning, lacked required turn of foot and struggled final 200 M.
9 1 BULLISH WIN (CH197) M Chadwick B/TT Amongst first few to break, prominent in lead battle early, did share of work following strong speed, in contention to 300 M but unable to quicken and simply battled late.
10 12 CHINA HERO (CH040) M W Leung B First to hit ground, led easily and kept pace honest in mid-section, raced 2Ls clear on bend, defied rivals passing 300 M but soon overhauled and weakened easily.
11 13 FASHFIELD (CH307) H W Lai TT1 Slow break, settled next to last 8Ls back on rails, not used in mid-section, still well back on turning, made limited progress only passing tired runners.
12 5 THE GOODIES (CH097) C K Tong B/H Slow out and lost considerable ground, regathered to race at tail 10Ls from top end, still sharing rear on straightening, never a factor.
