6 3 SPECIAL DAYS (CH236) Z Purton -- Well enough away, took a trail behind speed 3Ls off leaders, difficult to settle in mid-section, held up for a considerable distance to 200 M, just stayed on evenly once clear.
7 11 SPECIAL DRAGON (CH325) M Chadwick TT Amongst first few to break, unable to lead and box-seated 1 out 1 back instead, had an easy run to bend, challenged and hit lead briefly passing 300 M, peaked on run at 200 M and just kept on at one pace thereafter.
8 12 YOUNG HERO (CH071) M L Yeung -- Well enough away, pressed on but caught 3 wide without cover, did work throughout 2 to 3Ls off lead, niggled along to be challenging on turn, in mix at 300 M but couldn't sustain effort and faded out at 200 M.
9 14 UNWRITTEN RULE (CK092) T H So -- Out in line, showed good pace to cross to front, controlled race thereafter, still held advantage on turning, unable to quicken passing 300 M and gradually weakened out.
10 5 ARION OF CHIU TON (CK136) G Mosse -- Among first few to break, settled in a prominent spot on leaders back, had a reasonable run to bend, close enough on turning, lacked a turn of foot and simply battled away in straight.
11 13 BLUE SKY (CJ289) W M Lai PC/H Taken back from a wide alley, shared rear 9Ls or so off leaders, tracked wide at 500 M, came 6 wide approaching 400 M, couldn't go on inside 300 M and gradually lost touch thereafter.
12 4 PLASTIC POLYMER (CH034) C K Tong TT- Standard beginning, assumed a midfield spot 5Ls or so away in running line, not asked to bend, struggling soon after turning, weakened out easily.
13 8 BOOK OF KELLS (CK255) J Winks -- Angled back to take a spot in rear division 8Ls from top end, set task from midpoint, attempted to improve wide turning but lacked extra gears, never factored.
14 10 GREAT LAND'S STAR (CJ294) P H Lo XB Fast into stride, worked forward to race outside the leader, had a fair run with average speed on, still there turning, found little when pressured and dropped out quickly last 300 M.
