10 INDUSTRIAL MARVEL (CG188) W C Marwing -- Began smartly, drove through to hold front despite being headed, used a bit on strong speed, kicked on turning, found plenty and was never seriously challenged. (Improved performance questioned.)
11 TRUE INTELLIGENCE (CK060) K T Yeung -- Fast into stride, shaded leader racing outside speed throughout, did share of work on genuine speed with pressure from outside horses, kept on respectably but couldn't match winner final 200 M.
9 MANY GAINS (CJ051) Z Purton CP1/TT Jumped well, pressed on to hold spot behind leader, did some work on back of useful pace, had every chance to bend, just kept on at same pace late.
2 MAGIC SWEEP (CH299) M Chadwick B No early pace, ended up 4 to 5Ls away on rails, back with last few but saved ground on rails on bend, made steady progress in straight to make frame.
3 ELEGANT WIN (CG297) H W Lai TT Standard jump, ended up at rear 4 to 5Ls away in 2 wide line, had a fair run to bend, taken 4 wide turning, made many lengths down outside to be nearest on line.
6 PRETTY TOUCH (CK252) Y T Cheng B1 Moderate beginning, held a midfield role but forced to race 3 wide with cover 2 to 3Ls back, travelled well on bend, crowded a bit turning, kept on to 200 M before run ended.
1 ACHILLES OF TROY (CJ190) B Prebble P/TT Away fairly, assumed ideal spot 1 out 1 back, had every chance in run despite a strong speed, didn't quicken in straight and just held ground late.
5 CLASSIC NAVIGATOR (CD330) O Doleuze TT Out in line, ended up in midfield in running line, 3 to 4Ls back on bend, in traffic and held up until 150 M, didn't close off when clear and struggled late.
4 WELL NOTED (CG313) J Lloyd B-/PC1/TT Bounced out, pressed on when caught wide, no better than 4 wide without cover throughout, challenging on circle, used too much petrol and weakened understandably.
7 WHISKY POWER (CH291) M W Leung B/H Showed usual speed, pressed on to take closer order, unable to slot in and raced 3 wide without cover in duel for lead, did plenty of work to bend, faded out in straight.
8 NOBLE CHOICE (CK186) M Du Plessis -- Out in line, ended up in midfield but raced 4 wide in middle stages, forced to cover too much ground, didn't find at business end.
12 CRYSTAL (CE209) W M Lai B Jumped only fairly, drifted back to race 3 wide at rear, had cover but never really travelling, didn't make any impression in the straight.
