4 12 HEAR THE ROAR (M152) T Clark -- Never far off from leaders, loomed a serious threat passing 400M but couldn't find the extra to seriously challenge, kept on one-paced to line.
5 9 THE UNTOUCHABLELAD (CK398) M Guyon B Dropped back to near last, pushed along nearing 450M, made some headway from off the pace but was never a serious threat.
6 10 EURO SWIFTLY (CK091) M Barzalona H/CP/TT Positioned 2-wide in midfield, raced a shade keen early stages, angled out into clear near 250M, ran on fairly and not getting to the leaders.
7 3 HAPPY TUMBLER (L048) B Prebble XB Settled behind midfield 5Ls away, shuffled back to near last approaching home straight, stayed on fairly once getting a clear run inside 250M. (Jockey questioned re his riding early straight.)
8 8 STRAIGHT FORWARD (L100) G Mosse B-/SR1 Towards the rear, raced 3-wide for most of the way, took closer order passing halfway, not quickened when placed under pressure, no impression.
9 6 SOVIET PEARL (CK187) K C Leung TT Given a waiting ride, 6-7Ls off the pace near the tail of the field, last into straight, ran past well beaten horses only.
10 2 FORTUNE RED PEPPER (CK199) J Lloyd H Raced keenly, crossed to the lead passing 1200M and took them along steadily, headed soon after turning in, found little under pressure and weakened badly final stages.
11 5 MARK UP (CK247) O Doleuze B- Held up in midfield, raced 3-wide and left without cover from 1200M, strode closer to leaders making the home turn but weakened soon after straightening.
12 4 FULFIL A WISH (L235) D Whyte -- Crossed to the rail before first turn, tracked leader one back, went for an inside gap but was badly crowded for room near 200M, eased final 150M.
