9 10 GREAT STORM (S198) K Teetan -- Average to begin, raced 2 wide behind midfield, 4-5 lengths back, similar position turning, angled out in straight but unable to make progress to be competitive.
10 13 MR GENUINE (S253) C K Tong -- Began awkwardly, recovered to race on rail in 5th, 2-3 lengths back, saved ground turning, weakened gradually in straight, never a factor.
11 1 LUCKY DOUBLE EIGHT (P212) A Suborics TT1 Jumped well from the widest draw but unable to slot in, travelled 3 wide and without cover in 3rd, a length or so back, still 3 wide turning, bumped near 500M, failed to close off in straight.
12 14 ROMAN SOLDIER (N372) T H So -- Moderately away, unable to slot in, raced 3 wide with cover in midfield, 4 lengths or so back, under pressure turning, showed no response and was a beaten horse early in straight.
