3 9 EXPECTATOR (N284) K C Leung B/TT Began well, not pushed, holding rail behind leader to straight. Kept on steadily in straight without threatening first two.
4 1 LITTLE DRAGON (S264) K C Ng B Ridden along from an outside draw, racing wide with little or no cover 4L from leader. Continued to race wide around turn, wider in straight, but kept on solidly.
5 11 KERKENI (T053) K Teetan B/H Jumped well, ridden to lead on settling, setting sedate pace. Kicked clear around final turn, still in front 200m, shortened strides final 100m.
6 7 VERDANE (P184) B Prebble B Shifted across behind horses from wide draw and distant last on settling. Tagged on to field entering straight, took rails run and ran on steadily closing stages.
7 2 MEDALLIST (N024) N Rawiller TT Raced a little keenly early and ridden to hold midfield position between horses. Improved around turn to look a chance entering straight, turning one-paced.
8 3 GOLDEN ADDICTION (P234) O Doleuze P Began awkwardly, becoming badly unbalanced, losing ground, settling 3-wide at rear. Covered extra ground turn and still wide in straight, becoming one-paced final 200m.
9 10 NOBLE DE MAN (S215) D Lane -- Began OK, settling behind midfield away from fence. Urged forward between horses around turn, kept on fairly early in straight before tiring from 200m.
10 8 NONE OTHER (S349) N Callan B/TT Pressed forward to sit 1L outside leader back stretch and turn. Closed in top of straight to look a chance before coming under pressure and drifting back.
11 6 HORSE APLENTY (M376) C Y Ho B/H Ridden vigorously from an outside draw, racing 3-wide abut 2L from leader. Started to feel the pinch turning for home and weakened badly in straight.
