SIN G1 Kranji Mile & SIN G1 Raffles Cup (1600m) winner from this year who charged home in the SIN G1 QEII Cup (1800m) behind Top Knight, when he did not look as comfortable on the rain-soaked track. If the track is rated dry on Saturday expect him to go close to winning.

Mr Clint

Won this by 0.75L last year when he carried 117lb. Rises to 122lb this time but enters in good form after a solid third in the SIN G1 QEII Cup (1800m) when he had his chance to win.

2019 SIN G1 Singapore Derby (1800m) winner. Has not won since then. Finished 2nd to Aramaayo in the SIN G1 Raffles Cup (1600m) to Aramaayo two starts back. An on-speed runner who can surprise.

Former UK Galloper and one of four runners for master trainer Lee Freedman. Super on-speed effort when finishing 2nd in the SIN G1 QEII Cup (1800m) to Top Knight and he meets him 6lb better off at the weights and must be rated a big winning chance.

8YO galloper who charged home in a much easier grade last start to book his spot in the Gold Cup. Has not won for 832 days and this looks too tough.

The dark horse in the race who will relish the rise to 2000m and the drop to 120lb. He is a proven front running stayer who can give some cheek from the front over this staying trip.

Finished 2nd to Mr Clint in this last year. Will relish the rise to 2000m. Nicely weighted with 118lb and look for him to be charging home late.

Former Argentine runner who will appreciate the rise to 2000m. Has won up to 2500m in his homeland and last start he stormed home when 6th to Top Knight in the SIN G1 QEII Cup (1800m). Can cause an upset at good value.

Ocean Crossing

Honest handicapper who races on-speed and ran well behind Big Hearted last start over 1800m. Suited by the drop to 112lb but lacks the class to win a race of this nature.

Senor Don

Scored his first win in Singapore over 1600m on the Polytrack only six days ago and backs up quickly here. Faces a huge task to beat these.

Has been struggling to find his best form. Despite running home well last start behind Big Hearted, he is just not racing well enough to be considered a winning chance.

Finished 4th in the SIN G1 Singapore Guineas (1600m) behind star galloper Inferno, then came out and blew away his opposition over 1800m with 120lb on his back. Drops to only 110lb and will love the 2000m, looks a top chance to win at the weights.

Ran 2nd to Top Knight in the SIN G1 Singapore Derby (1800m) three starts ago, but failed at his next two outings. Highly inconsistent. Hard to recommend with any confidence.

Strong N Powerful

Enjoyed a perfect run in transit to finish 3rd behind star galloper Inferno in the SIN G1 Singapore Guineas (1600m) two starts ago. Failed at his most recent outing behind Big Hearted and his current form is of some concern.
