King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes S1 - 5, 24/07/2021, Saturday Post Time 22:35

Broome |
Has developed into a really consistent top class colt whose terrific front-running victory in a G1 at Saint-Cloud last time also suggested that this is his perfect trip. Slow ground is ideal, but good ground would be fine. |
2 |
Mishriff |
Hugely versatile regarding surface and distance, winning the world's richest race on dirt at Riyadh and a turf G1 at Meydan this year. Raced too freely in a G1 at Sandown last time. A stronger and more suitable pace looks very likely here. |

Love |
This brilliant filly is aiming for her fifth consecutive G1 victory after returning from a 300-day break to lead from gate to wire at Royal Ascot last month. Slow ground looks her only vulnerability. |
4 |
Wonderful Tonight |
Increasingly impressive, and was one of Royal Ascot's most eye-catching winners in a G2 over this trip when reportedly only 80% fit. Broome, second that day, subsequently won a G1 in France. Wants a slow surface. |
5 |
Adayar |
This big strong colt hadn't looked a likely Epsom Derby winner after his first two 2021 starts, but on the big day he was perfectly positioned and galloped on far too strongly for his ten rivals in that Classic. |
6 |
Lone Eagle |
Under an aggressive Dettori ride he was only edged out in the last strides of a 2400m G1 Classic at The Curragh, his conqueror Hurricane Lane easily winning another G1 since. Probably still improving. |
