Oaks S1 - 5, 03/06/2022, Friday Post Time 23:30

Concert Hall |
Confidently ridden, she quickened to lead on the wire in a 2000m Listed event at Navan on her 2022 return, and her strong-finishing third in a G1 Classic at The Curragh last time was another boost over an inadequate 1600m. Her dam - Was - won this Classic. |

Emily Upjohn |
Sure to start favourite, this unbeaten filly has been extremely impressive in two 2022 victories. Latterly she stretched clear of accomplished rivals at York. A longer trip now but her trainer believes that, and this track, will suit this well-balanced filly. Big chance. |

Kawida |
Won her last two starts in 2021. Raised in class and distance for her three-year-old return, she ran a close third in a 2100m G3 at Saint Cloud. But this looks much harder. |
4 |
Moon De Vega |
Had an encouraging two-year-old career, and made quite a good start in 2022 - considering she met with significant interference - when fourth in a soft-ground Listed event at Chester. |
5 |
Nashwa |
Favourite for both starts this year, winning each stylishly. Latterly she made gradual progress from off the speed to win a 2000m Listed event at Newbury. This longer trip looks fine. A player here. |
6 |
Rogue Millennium |
A cheap purchase who has won both her starts so far. In a trial for this, at Lingfield last month, she reeled in the long-time leader to win that Listed race in the last strides. Stamina not an issue but a much bigger task here. Supplemented. |
7 |
The Algarve |
This well-bred filly does not appear the strongest challenger from Aidan O'Brien's stable, having struggled in the home straight at York behind brilliant winner Emily Upjohn. May do best if the ground rides slow. |
8 |
Thoughts Of June |
The Oaks became her target after she gained her first career victory, leading most of the way and continually responding to pressure to narrowly land a Listed race at Chester last month. |
9 |
Tranquil Lady |
Delivered a clear career best at Naas last month when travelling strongly and then quickening clear of her rivals in a 2000m G3. That was on slow ground but her trainer thinks she will be even more effective on a quicker surface. |

Tuesday |
Placed in G1 Classics on her last two starts and though left behind by the brilliant acceleration of one rival at The Curragh last month, the step up from 1600m to this distance could be a big plus. |
11 |
With The Moonlight |
Has won three of her five starts, easily the most significant when she surged clear of six rivals in a 2000m Listed event at Newmarket last month. Mixed messages from her pedigree as to how suitable this longer trip will be. |
