Runs well at this track. Doesn’t seem to get there however has been consistent in recent starts here. 1600m could be a question as he has never won beyond 1450m.

Cousin Casey

Smart horse, was very unlucky not to win his last start with no clear passage. Primed to run a big one here. Races well at this track and will be strong contender for top honours.

Main Defender

Very classy, his racing record speaks for itself with an impressive 7 wins from 9 starts. He has decent draw and is very capable of winning, however he will be tested here.

Sandringham Summit

High quality individual holding strong form, the draw is huge plus as he can be well-placed from there and another positive is he loves to run at Hollywoodbets Greyville. A solid tempo will suit him well.

Itsrainingwilliam

Highly rated by his yard and has potential to do well. His recent form over shorter is encouraging, however he will be tested here. He would have tightened up well after his recent start at Scottsville which was a decent enough effort.

Dave The King

Strong front runner. His last win at Hollywoodbets Scottsville was extremely impressive. It’s very likely he may dart to the front and could prove dangerous if allowed to do things his own way.

Has been extremely consistent and is very capable on his day. Has never won over this trip so will have his work cut out especially against this type of opposition respectfully.

A talented runner who has been catching the attention recently by winning his last two starts extremely well. He can make it three-in-a-row.

Boasts useful form but has not been seen since the Cape Town Met. He may need this run but can still be very competitive. Huge chance.

Has his third run since March and should be cherry ripe. He nearly won last time and is a must for all bets. He has a first four chance.

His recent win in the Golden Horse Sprint was breathtaking. He does have a wide draw to deal with, but with his turn of foot, expect him to be charging late. Winning chance.

Needs to progress on current form for the win, but has shown promising capabilities before and can never be ignored from the quartet. He has a wide draw to deal with.

Has won his last two over this distance but at Turffontein. He has won seven races thus far and knows what it takes to get the job done. Today he meets a very competitive field and will have to step up to the task at hand for the win. Place chance.
