One of the most experienced runners with seven starts to date. Trainer won this in 2021, first Derby ride for his young jockey.

Three-time winner from four lifetime starts. Stablemate of Augustus, top Irish Jockey Oisin Murphy booked. Been popular for this since running away with a Listed trial five weeks ago.

Borna

Winner of G2 Derby Italiano (2200m) in mid-May. Jockey Andrasch Starke is seeking a record-breaking 9th win in the race.

Alleno

Winner of a maiden and runner-up in two principal trials, his only runs. Pedigree is all about stamina and soft ground. Trainer and jockey combined to win the Arc in 2021.

Anspruch

Form doesn’t amount to much so far. First runner in the Derby for rookie trainer Maxim Pecheur.

Palladium

The owners won the Derby in 2023. Broke his maiden at fourth attempt and not disgraced when 4th in main trial - his first try in Group company.

Stingray

Not beaten far in principal German trial, but yet to win at any level so hard to see him starting here.

Lahzar Star

Six runs to date and he’s been reliable. Two wins came in modest races though, and has been found wanting in better class. Top female jockey couldn’t be in better form.

Queimados

Represents powerful German owner and trainer but seems A late developer who booked his ticket for this race by winning an Italian Listed event.

Mister Gatz

French contender who has won over this trip in his native country and who will relish soft ground. May be short on class but some form working out well. An experienced jockey booked and he’s quite prominent in the early betting.

Geminiano

Changed hands, moved to new stable in recent weeks and represents his young trainer. Expected soft ground will suit.

Larios

Broke his maiden at fifth attempt on small track, but has been found wanting in better races before that. Latest 3rd in Italian Listed event represents his best form though much more needed here.

Weltbeste

Sister to two Deutsches Derby winners and clearly a smart filly who is receiving a sex allowance. But more needed on ratings.

Very experienced with nine lifetime starts, but still a maiden with only two placed efforts in four starts this season.

Thekingofmyheart

Exposed with eight starts to date, well beaten in all three runs this year.

Mina Rashid

International flavour added by this British-based runner. A stout stayer but slightly light on class having been well beaten at Royal Ascot last month.

Tiamo Hilleshage

Full-brother to the Arc winner Torquator Tasso. Yet to win beyond maiden class. Top German jockey booked and expected soft ground likely to suit but outclassed on all known form.

A maiden in five starts and worst on ratings by some way. Young French stable jockey takes the reins, but no chance on any given form.
